Silvassa, the capital of U.T of Dadra & Nagar Haveli is a sylvan paradise that derives its’ name from the Portugese word “silva”, which means wood. It is a place of spectacular beauty, with nature all around and a rare purity in the air. I have been to Silvass a number of times throughout the year and my every visit has been a different experience.
Silvassa truly is a land of all seasons.
The tourism department of Silvassa has made sure that developement has not come at the cost of environment and every effort has been made to preserve the gift nature has bestowed upon Silvassa.
